ITBPF Public School is a co-educational reputed English Medium School established in September 1998 with the permission of Director General ITBPF. It is functioning under the guideline and directions of Indo Tibetan Border Police Force Employees Educational Society and Director General of ITBPF is the president of this Society.
Aim & Objective of ITBP Public School Saboli
The aim of ITBP Public School SSBn Saboli is to provide the best possible education to its wards. Our primary aim is to develop in the students- quality of integrity, honesty, trust, tolerance and compassion, to promote a spirit of enquiry, to foster a scientific temper within the bounds of humanism, to help the student to become a meaningful part of his environment and to know that courage and industry have their due reward.
The pursuit of excellence encouraged at ITBP Public school rest on the positive belief that every man has it in him to produce work and excel.
Towards this end the school endeavors to provide a large and dedicated teaching staff with a wide range of skill and interests a varied and wide choice of activities- academic, aesthetic and athletic, an environment enriched with the excitement of discovery, challenge and competitiveness and discipline based on the belief that responsibility comes before freedom.
About ITBPForce
Indo-Tibetan Border Police was raised on October 24, 1962 for reorganizing the frontier intelligence and security set up along the Indo-Tibetan border. Only four Battalions were sanctioned to begin with. ITBP was initially raised under the CRPF Act. However, in 1992, parliament enacted the ITBPF Act and the rules there under were framed in 1994.
With additional tasks entrusted to ITBP from time to time on border guarding, counter insurgency and internal security roles, the number of ITBP Battalions increased gradually and ITBP presently has 56 service Battalions, 4 Specialist Battalions, 17 Training Centres and 07 logistics establishments with a total strength of approx. 90,000 personnel.
In the year 2004, in pursuance of GoM recommendations on “One Border One Force”, the entire stretch of India-China Border comprising 3488 Kms was assigned to the ITBP for Border Guarding duty and, accordingly, ITBP, replaced Assam Rifles in Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh in 2004.
The motto of the Force is “Shaurya-Dridhata-Karma Nishtha” (Valour – Determination – Devotion to Duty). All ranks of ITBP are dedicated to guard the borders with valour, determination and devotion to duty. The Force has earned number of decorations like Padmashree-7, Kirti Chakra-2 Shaurya Chakra-6, Sena Medal-1, President’s Police Medal for Gallantry-19, Police Medal for Gallantry -91, Parakram Padak-79, President’s Police and Fire Service Medals for Gallantry-2, Prime Minister’s Life Saving Medal-86, Jeewan Raksha Padak -06, Sarvottam Jeewan Raksha Padak – 02, Uttam Jeewan Raksha Padak – 13, Tenzing Norgay Adventure Award -12 etc. for its numerous achievements in the past.
About ITBP Force Employees Education Society
The name of Society registered under the society Registration Act. 1860 shall be INDO Tibetan Border Police Force Employees educational Society herein after referred to as “ITBPFEES” The Force aims to work for the welfare of the wards of our personnels and also serve the society through this school in addition to their duty of guarding the borders of the Nation.
(i) To establish educational institutions at location of deployment I.T.B.P.F to provide quality education to the wards of Force members
(ii) To provide for admission to local children in the I.T.B.P. school considering the fact that most of the I.T.B.P. deployment locations are in remote area having inadequate formal educational facilities.
(iii) To establish technical institutions to provide facilities of job-oriented training/courses to wards of the force members for their bright future.
(iv) To work for the educational upliftment of children of personnel of all ranks of the ITBP.
(v) To take up the matter with the authorities for the solution of educational problems of the children of all ranks of the force personnel.
(vi) To do all such other things which may appear beneficial for the educational upliftment of the children of all ranks of force members.
(vii) To supervise the management of ITBP education fund.
(viii) The Income of the society shall be utilized only for the achievements of above aims and objective.
(ix) Whenever it shall appear for the governing body that it is advisable to alter, extended or abridge such purpose to get for other purposes within the limits of SR act the governing body may submit the proposition to the members of the society in a written or printed proposition to the members of the society in a written or printed report and shall convene special meeting for the consideration thereof according to the regulation of the society.
